KO KO are a great band that I just bumped into, courtesy of The Recommender. Based out of Los Angeles, KO KO are brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhorn. Their music wreaks of indie pop, eliciting memories of two up-and-comers, Youth Lagoon and Oregon Bike Trails.

While they only “launched” in January of this year, the duo are already touring around So Cal. They’ll be stopping off at the Che Cafe on April 7th, a spot that definitely holds fond memories in my heart. For more details, check out their Bandcamp.
